Bimmers are very smooth and very nice. My dad has a 530i and it goes over 100km with ease. With a honda if your over 100km it feels like ur gonna tip over and the engine doesnt as good as the BMW 530i. BIMMERS rule

i just take all my cars to the dealership and let them work on it, however i dont care what the bmw deal says, i change my oil in the bimmer every 3000 miles, just like any of my other cars, and i use synthetic in all of them except acura (it requires regular honda motor oil). get your oil changed every 3k, dont listen to them. they want ur car to mess up and break sooner and faster so they can take your money quicker. its only common sense to change it at 3k

the oil symbol comes on in my dash all the time. I think it definetley has to do with the dealer not letting me change the oil with 15k miles. i think 15k miles to chnage oil is rediculous. I know they use castrol synthetic, but still, even synthetic oil doesnt last 15k miles. They are damaging the engines by keeping such old oil in the crankcase, thats why i use so many oil additives and supplements. if you wanna try using Hyper-Lube oil supplement, it works great for my engine

i have a 2006 330ci with almost 60 k, but i think it has an oil leak and it needs some work, im surpried a bmw would turn out that way, its not my first one and i dont drive it rough at all. i baby all my cars, but the acura has impressed me the most so far.160k, flawless! i've spent over $5000 on the bimmer after the warranty was done, it seemd like they knew when the warranty was gonna run out and they had the car set to break at a certain time lol

oh well Acura are great cars, i know theyre essentially Hondas but are much nicer looking and the brand name is more prestigious. Lexus' are the most BORING cars invented. And what model BMW do you have? I have an E60 530i with just about 50k miles on it and the ONLY thing ive ever had to replace/fix was the pressure plate of the clutch. the car has had very decent reliability for me so far, i hope mine holds out long cuz i dont wanna sell it at just 80k miles lol

lol, yes. i've had several bmw's, acuras, hondas and i've owned a lexus before. lexus is a very good car but its just not my cup of tea. bmw's r great cars, dont get me wrong. but try putting 80k on a bmw and see how much its gonna cost u after that. i've put 214 k on a honda accord before, and i have an acura tl with 160k and it runs better than any bmw i've owned.the bmw i have is in very good condition now so im not selling it, however i did purchase a 2009 acura MDX today.acura=intellegence

5th gear's idea of road testing a car is driving it around a track, so of course the BMW is gonna win. No one should be surprised about this. They are the most thrilling cars to drive, period. The Honda/Acura Legend does have tons of techno features which is good. The Audi basically loses in both catagories.

ur trading up your BMW for an F***ing Honda?! What is wrong with you?! why would you down grade from a Bimmer to a Honda? And BMW's are most definetely not overpriced. They're expensive because in terms of sport, performance, and balance of comfort/handling, they are at the TOP of the class. Nothing comes close. Acura's and Lexus' are overpriced. Youre paying more for a Honda or Toyota simply based on the brand.

if ur really going for not over priced, problematic cars, u should really try out a lexus, infiniti, or acura. The quality of these are just as great and most of the time better then cars like BMW or audi.

BMW's are over priced, they are just a status symbol. i'llbe replacing the BMW with a brand new TL or a Honda Pilot. Audi's have more recalls and engine problems than any other German auto maker. Acura/Honda also has the LEAST cost of ownership in the world (meaning it hardley costs anything to maintain it because it never breaks). I'de personally take the Honda legend over the bmw or audi any day. it'll be the one to make it past 100k |
