no, it won't work just like a windows PC. but it can run windows. and in that case, yes it will work just like a windows PC.
but overall, i would just get used to mac osx. it's a great operating system and it's pretty easy to get the hang of. there's no shortage of forums and tip websites for new users and power users alike.

i am not that good with Mac actually i have only used it thrice
but i really like it
I usually only downloads music and vidoes and surf on the internet . I'm in india and here its not used so much.
